Main Responsibilities
Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
• Work on premises and remotely to analyze and fix both urgent and lingering issues associated with reliability, protection, capacity, accessibility, and overall productivity
• Deploy, setup and troubleshoot applications hosted on Windows Servers
• Install and configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7
• Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
• Design IT topologies including virtualized infrastructures and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud models
• Support and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange Server, MS Office suite, telephony, and Internet access
• Plan and implement updates to Microsoft desktop operating system, Windows Server, AD, and Microsoft Exchange
• Develop and validate security policies such as on-premises high availability, fault tolerance, backups and AV as well as remote or cloud-centric disaster recovery
• Efficient system architecture and 24x7 server monitoring and alerting

• 10+ years background in desktop, server administration and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, machine setup, problem isolation and resolution)
• 5+ years consulting background
• Ability to troubleshoot application issues including workstation software compatibility issues, server issues, data service problems, and access problems
• Experience in business application assistance (Microsoft product family)
• Proven ability to work efficiently in a virtual office setting, delivering consistent follow-through and taking advantage remote access and mobile connectivity technology
• Works independently and demonstrates high level of responsibility and drive
• Possess a reasonable knowledge of networking layers 1 through 7 and strong debugging skills in L1-L4
