Essential Responsibilities
Activities

• Support and repair Microsoft Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-based networks
• Operate onsite and remotely to analyze and resolve both urgent and ongoing issues associated with reliability, protection, capacity, connectivity, and overall functionality
• Install, configure and debug applications hosted on Windows Servers
• Deploy and configure Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
• Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
• Plan information technology architectures including virtualized infrastructures and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
• Maintain and manage MS Outlook client with back office Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Office and Office 365, phone communications, and Internet access
• Plan and implement upgrades to Microsoft desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Exchange Server
• Design and test protection policies including on-premises high availability, resilience, backups and AV plus offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
• Efficient network architecture and 24x7 health monitoring and alerting

• 10+ years experience in PC, server management and IT Infrastructure support (new software deployment, device setup, problem isolation and resolution)
• 5+ years consulting background
• Ability to debug software application issues such as workstation program compatibility issues, server issues, data service issues, and access issues
• Background in business productivity application assistance (Microsoft product family)
• Proven ability to work effectively in a virtual office environment, delivering reliable follow-through and utilizing online access and wireless communication technology
• Operates independently and shows high level of ownership and initiative
• Has a working understanding of network layers 1 through 7 and excellent troubleshooting capabilities in layers 1 through 4
