Essential Responsibilities
Responsibilities

• Support and troubleshoot Windows Server 2016, 2012, 2008-powered IT environments
• Operate onsite and remotely to identify and fix both urgent and lingering issues related to reliability, protection, performance, accessibility, and general functionality
• Deploy, setup and troubleshoot apps on Windows Servers
• Deploy and integrate Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows 7 desktop PCs and laptops
• Configure and analyze a variety of network services and applications including AD, DNS, DHCP, IPAM, DFS & NTFRS
• Plan IT architectures including virtualized environments and private/dedicated/hybrid cloud designs
• Support and administer Microsoft Outlook client with back office Exchange, Microsoft Office suite, telephony, and Internet connectivity
• Plan and implement upgrades to MS desktop OS, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange
• Design and test security policies including on-premises high availability, fault tolerance, backups and AV as well as offsite or cloud-centric disaster recovery
• Robust system architecture and 24x7 health monitoring and alerting

• 10+ years background in PC, server administration and network Infrastructure support (new software installation, machine setup, problem isolation and repair)
• 5+ years consulting background
• Ability to debug software application problems including desktop PC software compatibility problems, server issues, data service problems, and access problems
• Experience in business application support (Microsoft product family)
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a virtual office setting, providing consistent follow-through and utilizing online access and mobile connectivity tools
• Works independently and demonstrates high level of responsibility and initiative
• Possess a reasonable understanding of network layers 1 through 7 and strong debugging skills in L1-L4
